形態特徵

• Rhizome short, creeping, 2-4 mm thick; scales dark-brown, clathrate, narrowly lanceolate, base broad, apex hair-tpped, margins denticulate.
• Fronds narrowly linear, 15-40 cm long, 2-4 mm wide; fleshy, firm; stipe very short, articulate to rhizome, approximate, with a single vascular bundle surrounded by a wide thick-walled zone; venation hidden, reticulate, with or without short included veinlets; midrib wide and prominent on underside. Sori long, continuous or nearly so, reaching from near apex to more than half the length of frond; sporangia borne in a narrow groove on either side of costa; small peltate clathrate paraphyses present; margins of frond inrolled, nearly reaching costa when young.
• Differs from <i>Vittaria</i> in its type of anastomosing venation, peltate clathrate paraphyses, articulate stipe, rhizome with 4-5 bundles and these being surrounded by a thick-walled ring, and in lacking idioblasts in the leaf epidermis.

• 台灣 : Epiphytic on tree trunks in dense forests.
• 世界 : Japan and China.
